So, I will feel better if I admit that I have found the M&M jar way to many times this week. This week for some reason has been extremely stressful. There never seems to be enough hours in the day. I am inundated with grading papers and graduate school work that unfortunately, I haven't had a chance to go to the gym. I am upset with myself for not making time to go to the gym that I am finding comfort in M&M's.
My goal for the remainder of the week is to avoid the M&M's. When I crave the chocolate, I will crunch on carrots instead.
I hope that everyone else is having a better week than me.

Even on the Biggest Loser where they have nothing else to do and have full time trainers, people struggle. You just need to keep going. Everyone will have good and bad days and weeks. Only 8 of 18 people weighed in last week. People need to report in during bad weeks as well as good. Biggest Loser contestants have bad weeks and we will also.
ReplyDeleteSo, true!! However, another thing... when I want chocolate, and there is some around me, I will usually just have a small piece. It's better than giving in later and having a LOT! A few M&M's won't kill you. I love M&M's, but I eat them weird so they last. I put ONE in my mouth, suck on it for a little bit, break the candy coating with my teeth and eat that and then suck on the chocolate. It makes them last much longer, so you eat fewer at one time!:)

My weigh in for this week isn't much. I've had the flu since last weekend and finally made it to the gym today for the first time since last Sat. I am still having trouble breathing (my mom is afraid that I am developing bronchitis on top of the flu) and wasn't able to go for my full workout session but I did go. I only lost 1 lb this week but after being sick I 'm proud of myself that I still lost. my percentage is .42%
