Have you set any new goals for week 2?
For myself, I have 2 goals. My 1st goal is to drink more water. I did some reading online about how much water to drink. It is recommended that you divide your body weight (in lbs) in half. That number is the amount of water in ounces that you should be drinking daily. (For me, 247/2 = 123.5 ounces of water or about 15.5 8-ounce glasses of water.) My 2nd goal is to go to the gym 4 times this week. I will admit that I am a workaholic, but I am trying to make more time for myself.

My goal for week 2 is to get to the gym 3 days. I did really well my 1st week, considering no work outs at all, so should do well adding exercise.
ReplyDeleteMy goal is to remember the details. I do much better when I actively use my food journal. I have been using it but not totalling it until the evening. It works better when I actively use it and am aware of how I am doing during the day.
ReplyDeleteMy goal for this week is to drop another 2 lbs. This will put me under 190. I touched 189 last year but didn't stay there. I will be really watching my caloric intake this week and if my new home gym is set up by tomororw, I will plan on using it for at least an hour each day.

Let's sweeten the pot just a bit more... To provide you with more of an incentive why don’t we plan for a group Bahamas Cruise for 2010.. As you lose weight why not pay yourself. Make an account for you. Each pound you lose pay yourself a dollar every 10 pounds pay yourself 20 dollars...etc… Put the money in a jar or saving account and call it your Bahamas Mama account… As you reach your goal weight pay your self for keeping it off....
Instead of celebrating with food you can save up for a cruise with friends… I am looking forward to cruising with you in my new bath suit! We can do this… YES WE CAN!!!
My goals for week 2:
ReplyDeleteDrink more water. I have done very well this week with this, because ALL I am drinking is water, but I am still not getting, let's see, 204/2 = 102 ounces of water per day! I am drinking about 68 ounces, which is way better than I used to drink! :)
Keep up with my workouts and food diary, even though I am starting a new job on Wednesday!!

My goal for this week is to feel better and go to the gym if I can...This is the 3rd day this week that I had to call in sick. I think I have the flu but whatever it is has knocked me flat on my butt. I finally broke the fever this morning so hopefully by tomorrow I should be able to make it to the gym. Good thing is I've stuck within my calorie range since I've had to force myself to eat. (egg whites and low sod soup...yum)

you know, I almost always get sick when I start trying to lose weight. I am wondering if it might just be the toxins leaving the body??
