I apologize that I haven't been on in while. This is a hard time of the year for me at school; one school semester ends and the second one begins.

So, last week on my M&M kick, my weight remained the same. I'm pushing this week for a loss.

Starting tomorrow, I'm going to start a journal of my food intake and exercise on a daily basis. I think that if I write it down, I will do a better job sticking with it. I am having a problem getting to the gym; I guess exercising overall. I can't seem to make time for myself. I am hoping with the beginning of my new semester, my workload will not be as intense and I can go to the gym. I am trying; my gym bag and sneakers are a permanent fixture in my car.

A Bump in the Road

So, I will feel better if I admit that I have found the M&M jar way to many times this week. This week for some reason has been extremely stressful. There never seems to be enough hours in the day. I am inundated with grading papers and graduate school work that unfortunately, I haven't had a chance to go to the gym. I am upset with myself for not making time to go to the gym that I am finding comfort in M&M's.

My goal for the remainder of the week is to avoid the M&M's. When I crave the chocolate, I will crunch on carrots instead.

I hope that everyone else is having a better week than me.

What are your goals for week 2?

Have you set any new goals for week 2?

For myself, I have 2 goals. My 1st goal is to drink more water. I did some reading online about how much water to drink. It is recommended that you divide your body weight (in lbs) in half. That number is the amount of water in ounces that you should be drinking daily. (For me, 247/2 = 123.5 ounces of water or about 15.5 8-ounce glasses of water.) My 2nd goal is to go to the gym 4 times this week. I will admit that I am a workaholic, but I am trying to make more time for myself.
